It’s worth practicing, as long as you set clear boundaries. Treat it like a rehearsal, and don’t consider the offer if the red flags are too strong. Sometimes just getting the practice makes a big difference.
If the company is awful I'm not sure it would be a good place to get interview practice. It seems like it would be like scrimmaging against a bad team. But, if you've applied and you're up for an interview you might as well go. Who knows, maybe it won't seem like such a disaster when you experience it for yourself. I'm always a little skeptical of reviews and ratings just because I assume it's the angry and discontented who are most inclined to post a review.
I’d ask yourself if the stress of preparing and showing up is worth it if you’d never take the offer. If the answer is yes because you want the practice, go for it. If not, skip it and focus on companies you actually want to work for.
