I want to pivot into the sustainability sector but I lack a formal degree in a related field and I have no experience volunteering or otherwise. Where should I start? I feel passionately about climate change and personally spend a lot of time learning/educating within my own spheres, but have been unable, due to personal circumstances, to really dedicate time to gaining concrete experience

Is loyalty a thing in consulting? Project leadership has been offering billable hours from the markup even though there's not much to do. Would it be bad if I leave for other opportunities?

Suppose you agree that the provided professional development offered through our districts is ineffective. Why not invest in your professional development by seeking a coach or mentor or even pay for professional resources that would help? To put it plainly, why don't we educators invest in our professional development?

I work with a big 4 company, with their financial crimes department. In the past 4 years I saw that there is always less business and they keep cross teaming me with other practices that align with my skills. Is it the same case with other big 4s as well? I have got an offer from Accenture for Level8. I was 60% matching for the profile and got selected through saying there no project currently for this role, we are taking in advance. I doubt if they would send me out after project allocation done saying profile not matching. Want to know is there job security in Accenture provided I can learn and upskill the remaining 40% in 3 months time.
