I have been volunteering at my local charity for 9 months- due to new management I am planning on resigning, I would like another volunteering position lined up to keep me occupied while searching for a paid role, but am unsure where to look. I found job sites such as indeed, gov website, Reed etc have been no help. What websites are good for volunteer opportunities? Current location being London.

I think your best bet is to just look at local nonprofits in your area. Find some that align with your beliefs and then see if they’re taking volunteers. Also, I don’t know if you have this over in London, but UNICEF is a giant nonprofit that has so many charities under it so you can search a large database at once.

Totally get that,new management can really change the vibe. If you’re looking for volunteer roles in London, you might want to check out Do-it.org, Volunteer Centre London, or TimeBank. They usually have a good range of opportunities, and some are really flexible while you’re job hunting.

Will an offer made in paper by one organization get revoked if a counter offer from other organisation is submitted to negotiate a better salary?
Also need an advice on should i submit the counter offer even if i prefer the first organisation only to improve the salary which is less as offered now?
