Was offered a Strategy Consultant role with Accenture (progression point C) for $150k. Asked what the sign-on bonus would be and was told $20k. Is this fair comp? Should I negotiate? I tried to negotiate salary but was told it is fixed. I haven't tried to negotiate sign-on yet, but also feel like it's fair and don't want to lose the offer. What would you do?

Background: Program director for a nonprofit for the past 5-7 years. Double masters in education (no mba).

This general strike talk has really got me re-evaluating my whole career. I can’t complain about compensation, I’m paid well, I have benefits, and I have a roof over my head. But the work life balance and unsustainable productivity expectations that have been created by agencies that won’t say no to clients needs to change. I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.
