I don’t go in until the week before school starts. I make a list of what needs to be done and put it in my desk. Then I go home. I might lesson plan and take online PD courses from home, but I set time aside for that. When that time is over, I relax by my pool or take a ride to the beach or read for pleasure or do yoga or hang out with friends… I try hard not to stress about work. You don’t have to go in right now. Take a real break.

It is enjoyable to do stuff i want to do. I am working in my yard and catching up on laundry today.
Do not. Rest your weary bones and do something nice for yourself to recharge 😊

I don’t go in over the summer. I take that time to myself
Last year I didn’t do a single thing for school over the summer. September was super chaotic lol! I’ll work on organizing some things and planning out the first few weeks this year, but I’ll probably wait until the last week of August!
Aside for a couple in-services that they pay me for, I tried to stay away from the building and that area in general. Unless they are paying you to go in, why would you. Plan and do what you can from home.
I don’t go until maybe two weeks before school starts and I’m small spurts
