I interviewed today with a company based in a different country that wants to hire a contractor in the United States. We discussed that it would be a 1099 role and they asked what compensation I am looking for. If I want something comparible to a salary of $90k, what should I ask for? The more I'm trying to work backwards to figure out tax, insurance, 401k, etc the more confused I'm making myself. I don't want to ask for too much and price myself out, but I also don't want to undersell myself.

I passed my PMP thanks to this sub group.
I have passed Above Target in the People section, and T in the other sections.
It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.

What challenges are you facing in your career as Project manager?

Are there any scholarship opportunities or aid available to students taking the PMP? My university does not have any and I’m interested in taking the exam. TIA
