I have this weird huge anxiety around sending out emails to my BU. Personally, it’s because I’ve received feedback that I’m not concise or clear in my written communication. I’m trying to be patient and gracious with myself, & have been reading books to improve my vernacular. I also send my email drafts to my manager first, & she’s been supportive and improving them for me. Which is great! But I feel a tad embarrassed. Any tips on how to regulate that feeling, & improve written comm?

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

The role is loosely defined but overall expect to be focused on strategic growth/ corp dev, exec / investor and all company communication, conflict resolution and the like. It’s the one consistent feedback I get while casing , “to be more structured” I’m there for math ability , business logic , creativity.
