I passed my PMP thanks to this sub group.
I have passed Above Target in the People section, and T in the other sections.
It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

Anybody getting a master's or MBA online or part time? Where you at and what are your thoughts?

Interested in your opinions for moving from strategy consulting to a corporate venture builder pre-MBA with ultimate goal of ending up in VC.

Current thinking would be:
T2 Strategy (2YOE) > Corporate Venture (~2YOE) > MBA (M7) > VC

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

How does a 4-5th year management-side employment lawyer at a NY boutique L&E firm obtain employee benefits experience in a firm that doesn’t have this expertise? Is there a certification? Is it on the job training? And, does a benefits associate command more on the open market (law firm or in-house) than a traditional L&E associate? Hello, I am a junior business administrator working in advisory operations. I have been with the company for 6 months, and was employed along with 2 other colleagues. I have picked the job up really fast and am even doing some “extra curricula’s” I really love my job. However I have recently found out I am being paid the same as an apprentice on my team, I usually do at 3 x the work he does whilst also doing my Cert CII. It has really disheartened me and I feel I should be earning more money

My friend has following offers from three companies after MBA (two offcampus and one from campus)

1. Finance Effectiveness/ EPM role at one of the Big 4
2. Deal Advisory role at one of the Big 4
3. Organization strategy role from one of the top consulting companies (not Big 4)

Which role offers the best exit options? All the offers from US support teams of the companies.
OS role offers better than the other two (only slightly), but I am interested in a good profile

I need some advice. I’m a professional MBA student. I Was trying to break into MSFT with an internship. They ended up pulling me out of the interview loop to extend a FT offer to me. It didn’t happen. I started an Prod. Manager internship with Indeed just a week ago with hopes of converting over FT. A hiring manager & a recruiter from MSFT (2 diff reqs) just contacted me to pursue the FT offer once more. What should I do? Should I tell them about the internship? Would they wait 11 wks for me?

I've been working as a Junior Analog Design Engineer for a year and half.
I received a proposal for a Senior Analog Designer role from Bosch in the same city where I am currently working.
Should I wait and build up a few more years of experience before accepting a Senior role or should I jump in and work to fill the gap?
Next year, there will be an important deadline for the project I'm working on and my resignation could be critical for the team, how would you deal with it?

Any PMs work in Education? What’s your salary?

I’m scheduled for my PMP test in November. Is signing up for the PMI Study Hall prep plan recommended? What other study methods do you recommend to help with passing the test?

My husband want to get into PM work in construction (Ideally WFH). Currently he’s doing lighting protection but has been very ambitious and deals a lot with multiple contractors on sites. He should be taking his Journeyman certification test early next year. Any advice for how he can make the shift into the PM world? He’s working to get his CAPM early March 2023 and should have his associates in business be the end of 2023. And advice is appreciated :)
