Take your feelings out of it. Problem solved
You do realize it’s now been 2 weeks, right? And you’re still trolling my post?? Really? That is beyond bizarre behavior.
if you like to be micro-managed this will be a great fit, if not start the job search again.
Ignore and look at the big picture; don't let fools get in your way.
How is this quote applied if they are the fool in your scenario?
The best advice I can tell you, is to read your company handbook. Follow your company policies.
OK boomer. Are you the small-minded manager this person has posted complaining about? If the shoe fits...
!! Wait.. you HAVE a job??!! Wow
Sometimes there might be one or 2 people that are taking excessive e breaks but in order not to single people out, the managers will talk to everyone on the team. If you are doing what you should be doing then you have nothing to worry about. Keep your focus on your job and the reason you are there. A paycheck.
sincerely teleperformance sucks, i hope you find other job so you can send teleperformance to hell that is where they belong
Sounds like you don’t want your job and should do the honorable thing and quit.
Sounds like the OP wants the same respect shown to others. Manager is exhibiting bias and it should be called to his/her attention. After documenting the situation, of course.
How much time do you get for lunch?
Leave the company when you have 6 months of experience. Now search for new job and learn skill
The ‘well-seasoned rep’ may have taken issue with being left out of the club causing feelings of alienation and paranoia, triggering a meeting with the boss. Regardless, are you somehow forgetting what the rules are for getting a paycheck?
Any time I disagree with a decision especially from management I try to look at without emotion. In this case I would ask myself if I am really leaving the coworker alone for 10 minutes or more often 30 plus minutes? Is the well season coworker concern because they can only handle one issue at a time and find theirself alone with multiple issues during peak times? Is there a service level agreement in place with customers and the contract times are not being met? In our area I am the lone person at end of shift but most days there are few issues at this time where between the hours of 10-1 is often peak time for problems. My environment does not require someone available immediately around the clock but we do have an expected time to respond. Not sure about your environment. Just things to consider...
sounds like the team mfic needs to step up and take charge
Voice your concerns with your supervisor and HR in the same room. When addressing the overlapping lunch issue, ask why it is acceptable for you to be left alone for an hour when a seasoned employee cant manage it for 10-15 minutes. Ask for specific reasons as to why you are left alone as a newer employee and state that you are uncomfortable being left alone for that length of time this early into your position or at all. Think of solutions to the problem (for example maybe start a lunch rotation schedule where if one person went to lunch the first day of the week, they go last the next day and vice-versa that way it stays fair to all). If they aren't willing to hear you out or accommodate reasonably in conjuction with your role or duties, it may be time to start looking for a new employer.
My former place of employment. We would stagger lunches so that someone would be able to cover calls as needed. We got a new manager and he state that we all had to take lunch at the same time. Ok. We shut the shop down and turned off the phone until we were done with lunch. Things went back to normal not long after that. But, yes that is a stupid way to do things.
Sounds like ya'll need to talk about it. Just you two and find the root of the issue....
I work most of my life as a 20-year slave here at my company here are my comments. If you can't work as a slave then become your own boss but again you also need to work as a slave to your customer. No matter how good a company is shit bound to happen somebody needs to be blamed for setting an example, there will be sacrifice and scapegoat. Take that complain and move on with life if not MOVE job keep finding those DREAM jobs that even if they shit in other ppl eyes it look like heaven in your eyes. For example i have a friend who works in garbage collection and looks kinda bored to me. Still, he finds it relaxing and happy nobody to complain him coz he clocks in and out and at the end of the month has his salary to enjoy with family, he is not making that much compared to myself. Still, I feel shit about my work compared to him with shitty clients and shitty management. I'm just waiting to retire....
I feel for you. Because I was in the same situation several times with my last job. During lunch break I'm all alone on the phones & emails (3 inboxes) while everyone else on the team takes about 1.5 hour lunch. Eventually, I got laid-off - although, I actually felt relieved - filed for unemployment benefits, and never looked back.
Either stop doing it or quit. That's common sense. Respectfully, there's no reason to post this online. What do you expect us to say?
Your response to someone speaking sensibly to you is:
"Think before you ask stupid questions."
Yeah, you're definitely not the problem at your job. It's everyone else and you're the victim.
