I paid for one of my friends to get a job through backdoor in an MNC company and its been an year, but that person still didn't repay it back to me and not picking my calls or replying me. I'm frustrated and in a stage to expose that person to that company.
Will the company really go beyond and do the background verification. Will that person's job be at risk? Dont take me wrong guys. I know it's my mistake to give huge amt of money.

I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. I got a job offer from a new company so I signed the offer letter and received the company laptop and they have created login credentials for me but my date of joining was after 15 days. Then I have submitted the resignation on current company. Now my current company found that I have accepted the offer for new company and got their laptop. Now they are asking me to pay 1.5 lakhs for giving the experience letter saying dual employment and breach of trust.

How can I handle this situation

Its hard to be positive nowadays in any work. When I joined IT industry i thought in IT we will not have politics and shit but its there. Ppl dont want to work together. They just want to keep their power. They achieve something and they wanna keep it anyhow. Its really sad. You wanna work with your open heart but ppl above you wont let it because in the end their position will be in danger. Why would be in danger? You know stuff, you have knowledge, you can grow more and more. Right??
