Honest input request. Recent company role overhaul & total comp package revamp, cutting my 6 figures made last year down by 30k, and they added in support calls + prospecting + team lead. Pay day saw a 2.5k take home drop This month. This helped low performing staff increase their income, and pulled top performing folks like me into the red. Do I have any negotiation points here? Each year I’ve been here earned 23-50% more per year. Other than jumping ship, what are my options?

Tips for transitioning from sales into recruitment?

I have a little under 8yrs of experience - working for a small tech consulting firm, one person team, slowly becoming global (HRBP, HR generalist, and recruiting) I make $80k a year based in Chicago. I feel like I am under paid, but would love some opinions on what others think.

I am looking to start a career in sales and more specifically pharmaceutical sales. I have a degree in bio/chem. Any companies I should be looking at? Any advice for someone wanting to start a sales career?

Does anyone have any resources on leadership soft skills (ie - managing change, conflict mgmt, and giving feedback)? I’m trying to search for a facilitator’s workshop kit that is already built out and a facilitator can pick up and start teaching the course with the facilitator’s guide, presentation, and activities. Also, I would hope we can use the material and rebrand into our organization’s leadership development program.

Used to rejection and I don’t let it get me down, but with the job market being the way it is—should I put my plans to get into tech on hold? I was thinking maybe construction sales or even possibly recruiting. I’m hesitating because of the nitpicking from HMs and recruiters for “job hopping”. Do I stay the course and make a move into tech for next gig or wait until things stabilize more? It’s really difficult right now with the candidate pool being so vast in tech.

Is it normal to get a 50-80k raise for a promotion within a company?? I heard someone say they had 2 offers within a company so both teams were fighting for them, and another offer outside of the company, so his current company bumped his pay from $110k OTE to $180k.

HR/LEGAL HELP: I work for a multi-state remote employer. I am doing a classification study of sorts and believe that we may have to reclassify some positions. The impact is moving exempt and salaried positions to non-exempt. This has caused us to consider what states we are/should be hiring from. Any issues with excluding candidates from certain states that may have more stringent pay laws? Appreciate your help!

Help with workflow optimization for non-technical HR/administrative teams… I am looking for solutions/tools to optimize global processes for our operations (thinking onboarding, offboarding, communicating between departments as systems are not integrated and constantly digging in and out of email is just ripe for errors. Need to plan a team building for sr management team. CEO VPs Directors. About 15 ppl total. What is the best team building you have done? Looking for inspiration and idea. Mix of ages and M/F. About 75% of these people get along well and work well together. Trying to foster some better relationships and have some fun. I’ve been in my role since June of 2020 right after graduating college. I truly cannot say enough good things about my manufacturer but lately, as in the last 6ish months, I’ve truly been questioning whether there is more for me here.
