Any thoughts about Siemens Management Consulting firsthand or secondhand knowledge. Interested in hearing about perceptions, experience, etc..
Haven't really used this platform, so I'm looking for the right place to post. We are hiring for a Director of Strategic Planning at Siemens Healthineers. Best fit for candidates with 3-5 year…
Anyone have any experience working with/for Siemens Management Consulting? I’m considering reaching out to them to apply as a Consultant/Experienced Professional.
Would my bosses let me move to work in a different state? I work as an internal consultant within KPMG, working for the firm within the internal HR team. I have been with KPMG for 5 months but I am wanting to move back home to be with my family - on the other side of the country. There’s only a 2 hour Timezone difference and I’d make sure to work on current time. My line manager I report to lives in another state to me anyway - and it seems to work well for her. Am I pushing my luck to ask?
To all of the Talent Management / L&D professionals, what’s essential when creating a 30-60-90 day template? This will be used by the managers to help set up their new hire for success.
I’m planning to buy the study materials for the SHRM-CP certificate through Amazon. What are the best ones to obtain?

Actively seeking a new opportunity and I am slowly starting to feel discouraged due to lack of response. Anyone else having issues searching for employment right now?
Good Afternoon and Happy Friday everyone! I work for a larger fulfillment center and I am tasked with coming up with some new ideas to do for team member engagements. Usually once a week we hand out cookies, chips or popcorn with Gatorade. This is for close to 1200 team members. Does anyone have any great ideas?
Hey Sales Bowl, As our bowl grows and we start to have more discussions around the craft we love best I wanted to ask yall a question. What would you like the bowl to look like? What are the key components of your performance review process? The data points we currently use are manager and self scoring of a scorecard for each employee (scorecard outlines mission for the position, outcomes, and competencies) as well as peer feedback based on the competencies of the position (thought being a manager only has so much insight to a person’s day to day, especially in a matrix org). What am I missing?
Curious if yall have started seeing customers again face to face? I am in Texas and it seems my customer base is opening up to the idea.
It's great to finally have a bowl of our own! In terms of HCM software, what is something that all of them tend to be missing, aside from a good user experience?
I'm an HR Generalist with about 7 years of experience. What is the best way to learn more about Compensation? I've always wanted to dive deeper into that area of HR, however, until recently, I only have ever worked at larger organizations that claimed there wasn't time to cross train me or to help with comp projects. Would it be beneficial to take a step down and try to find an Jr comp analyst position? Is there a program I could participate in to learn specifically about the nuance's of compensation?
As a salesperson I generally take the approach of keeping my opinions to myself, if a customer asks me something directly I'm not going to lie to them I'll share what I believe in a respectful way. In other words I don't try to force my views on anyone, but lately our world seems to be more and more polarized on everything, and everyone is offered just by knowing you don't share the same views as they do they can't imagine their opinion isn't the only one. How are you handling these situations?
HELP: I have been a TA for 5 yrs, and prior my role was HR/recruiter.I have tried to get out of TA and move into HR but I am having a difficult time. I have applied to entry level HR roles, simply to “start” fresh, and have not seen any luck for 2yrs.It’s not that I don’t like TA, but my company has no growth option and I am stuck at a dead end, unless a magical spell is casted. I have also applied to other TA roles as well, in hope to get industry experience. How can I better market myself?
Hey everyone! I've been in agency technical recruitment for 2.5 years now - Toronto market. I am very interested in being more involved in BD - possibly be in a full cycle recruitment role. My concern is that I've only had inside sales related experience, and I want to make sure I am able to ace the role when I do transition. I would love to get some advice from other recruitment professionals. Thank you in advanced :)
Why is it that all the republican/conservative posts always come from places like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, etc? Anyone else notice this?
Deloitte fish: What sorts of baby related items have you purchased using the well being subsidy? Other than jogging stroller or bike baby carrier, not sure what i could use it for!
Received a pretty awesome offer from Facebook. Accepted it. Made a feeble attempt at negotiating the base but the HR said its a firm offer. Was able to negotiate a sign on bonus nonetheless. But now, i feel i should have negotiated the base better. 10k more on base and I would have been 100% satisfied with the offer. Feeling dumb.
How much of partner/MD salary is variable at big4? I’ve heard the first year $400k-ish number from big4.. but is that base comp or variable based on meeting sales targets?
Do you approach interviewing the same as you do dating? Basically, if they liked you they would make an effort to contact you and not vice versa? Had an interview on Friday and still haven’t heard anything back. Company was looking to hire someone immediately. Wondering if I should reach out or assume they’re not interested.
It takes a special type of person to try and bully someone into working without a code right now. Our jobs are our plus ones right now
Can you really call it a Monday if you don’t almost sleep through your five alarms, get your Uber canceled twice, get stuck in traffic just before the terminal, and just barely make your flight? 😅
Do you think FAANG eventually will have their own non internal consulting divisions to compete with Big 4/ ACN on deals? Maybe the Biz Ops/APM talent compete against MBB?
I am in the Army National Guard and I have mandatory training to get qualified for my military job. The training lasts for 4 months. I’m currently in the final phase of receiving my verbal offer from Booz Allen Hamilton or Deloitte GPS. I haven’t told them about this in my initial screening. Would they reconsider hiring me if they knew I would be away for that long? Should I be upfront and tell them I’ll be away? I don’t want to lose an opportunity that I worked hard for. Please help.

Anyone have success with changing their company’s mat leave policy? I feel like we should at least be matching the big4 but not sure how it would go negotiating with an already established policy..
Any of y’all think all the NYT McKinsey hit jobs are a tactic from DNC to get at Pete Buttigieg? I think that you could look at many consulting firms and find the same issues.
Trump states he will not approve the reauthorization of the Patriot Act without significant reform to FISA system. Taking this with a grain of salt, but shouldn't this be celebrated on both sides?
