I read about this and I wonder if the customer service rep was fired. The customer lost a discount and the store lost a sale of over $1500 which was totally the rep's fault. I've had people leave grocery carts behind that were full of stuff in my store, but nothing close to that amount. How about you?

Can we still negotiate with company A Or B to get top up from X+3 to make a clear decision to choose over one other.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any
