We get people like that sometimes, I always start thinking it's some kind of joke until they sit down and I see them pounding chicken sandwiches like maniacs

I'm always hoping some crazy person will come to eat a ridiculous amount of food. It gets a little boring around here sometimes...

My grandmother went to pick up lunch for the family once, just picture this tiny little old lady (like about 5'2") walking in there and asking for "seven bacon double cheeseburgers please." "SEVEN?" "Yes, that's right." That was many years ago and it still amuses me

For one person? That's too many hahaha

OMG! I can't believe it's only for one person

No Diet Coke!!

"Absolutely, sir. Will that be dine in or take out?" I don't think that many would even fit on one of our tables, we'd probably have to push them together

Reminds me of a regular I had at Tim Hortons. It was my first day on drive thru and dude wanted XL 10 sugar and 7 cream 👻 I had to ask a senior staff member if it was legit.... Turned out it was a long-haul trucker.

New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke. I celebrate my 40th a few days after NYE/NYD - would love some recommendations on moderately priced but nice ambiance restaurants for myself + husband, and my extended family. Everyone is scattered throughout (Hamilton, Barrie, Lyle, Newmarket, North York). Don’t want anything too fancy but don’t really know where or what is good and not downtown.

Any recommendations? (Open to GTA of course).

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.
