I wouldn’t show up to a job until I have signed offer letter with a start date in it. If you haven’t gotten that, nothing is set in stone yet. Definitely reach out to the company first, perhaps try HR since the manager isn’t responding
If you don’t show up they can say u didn’t show up. Tell them the manager name and show up. If they say ur not in the system yet. Then tell them bring in the manager peroioddddd
So many times the start date they put on the paperwork coincides with the beginning of the pay period. So I would definitely start calling HR/Management. Check your Spam folder. Many jobs have a time frame that you have to accept the offer after it’s sent.
If you already signed documents and accepted the job offer, then it should already be on file with your HR dept. Unfortunately, some managers have terrible communication, so I’d still show up. Best of luck
If you have not heard in max 5 days from a job with an official offer letter or other documentation I would gaff been checking my spam folder or looking in my regular email for documents. Sometimes things don’t come in the name of the company itself it comes from whichever system it works with for new hires or even current hires. So check email/spam for anything stating offer letter from unknown company/website name. Call HR if they have one and explain what is going on if not, I will definitely go down before the date & find that Manager & find out what is up. They also could’ve had a change of heart & not decided to hire you. But if that part is true, they should’ve communicated with you. As stated above, not all managers have the best communication skills.. But I definitely would find out before showing up on that date thinking you got a job & thinking you are starting. Meanwhile, this is going on. You could be missing other opportunities because you think this is a for sure thing. Don’t let other good opportunities pass you by while you are trying to get this figured out. Wishing you the best of luck.
Show up, claim your job
