What the pay difference across SEA offices? Interested in HCM and KUL but only got the numbers for SIN so far. PL or P levels if that matters. A relative difference would be enough, e.g. SIN 100, HCM 70

My wife got a job that requires us to relocate to San Diego. We have never lived there and know little about the city. We are planning to rent. We stayed in a hotel in little Italy and really loved the vibe there, but it’s too expensive for us. Are there other neighborhoods with similar vibes - restaurants, bars, lively, good for walking, clean, safe, young, diverse and accessible that are more affordable? Please share recommendations. How much should we reasonably budget to rent a 2bd/2bath?

What’s the best (most promising) industry in ATL (which one you see with the most growth potential, or which ATL seems to have a regional advantage in), for someone in their mid-twenties just beginning their career to focus on/specialize in?

Context: Industry agnostic, but have zero intentions in leaving ATL.

Out of curiosity, is consulting, esp MBB consulting not as coveted as they were several years ago? I keep seeing advanced technical (data science) skills required for many industry positions, even if the role is strategic. The traditional strategy/biz ops roles seem to become more and more selective, are typical exit paths from mbb consulting becoming more of a “red sea” situation?

How diverse is Portland really? Everyone talks about it like it's San Francisco in the 70's, but is it racially diverse or super white? Just wondering since my son is Black and I'd love for him to feel less alone. We're looking at moving in the summer time but are still checking things out. Real opinions please!

Went to a dentist today for regular teeth cleaning, such a bad experience where he just seemed to want to make money off of me. Took x rays without any need, made a case for Invisaligns to me and somehow the number landed up exactly where my insurance maxes out.

He suggests the Invisalign treatment would cost $8K. Have others gotten it done? Does it really cost that much?
