I recently learned that American Express does not reimburse the cost of checked damage luggage if part of the airfare was paid with airline miles, even if it was originally MR points that transferred to Delta miles. It needs to be fully paid on the American Express credit card. Does anyone know if that also holds true with the capital one venture X, Chase Sapphire reserve or Chase Sapphire preferred?
