I was earning $68,000 at my last job. Yesterday I accepted a job that's offering $46,000. I haven't had a job in months, so of course I had to take this sad pay. Do you have any idea how crappy it feels to take that kind of a pay cut?

Struggling to get work at a free market firm after lateraling. I was very well liked at my prior firm and had high hours so really struggling to understand why folks don’t seem to want to come back to me with more work. After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".
