I was recently was laid off from a job of 3 years, reason "budget cuts." I was very good at it, received a lot of praises from customers and other employees and supervisors. It was done by the branch manager while my supervisor sat there in silence showing no gratitude or sympathy. I didn't believe it for one second. It was more of me getting a promotion. Come to find out, that I was right all along. My ex boss took a demotion/paycut just to keep their job, Wow, I guess I was a threat.

If you got fired tomorrow, how long can you go without a paycheck? Assume you get 1 week of pay for every 6 months worked, and then can do unemployment after that ($425 a week)

I accepted an offer from Cognizant for a consultant position a little less than a month ago. My joining date is 5th September and I would need visa sponsorship. I have an offer from @Morgan Stanley for 36 lpa.. 8 years, Java backend developer.. I am also about to have a managerial round with Mercedez Benz and Zscaler.. Morgan Stanley they said I initially I will have to work on existing applications and later move on to microservices project.. Both Benz and Zscaler are working on good tech stack.. Are any of these worth considering if they match what Morgan Stanley is offering?
