At PwC client facing, was a data scientist not a SWE. Weighing pros and cons on Sr. Technical product manager for SE team and business development manager at a biotech. The STPM role looks like a lot of requirements gathering from stakeholders for software. What does a business dev role typically entail? I have been shying away from business dev as I want some wlb. I do like the high level long term strategy type work. I am not the best at small talks and not a happy hour person though.

I have about 5 years of PM experience and am looking for a senior PM role in a company that makes ML based products and it's been hard. I've gotten feedback that I seem "really smart" but I'm not a good fit for X role. It feels like a hiring manager saying you seem "really smart" is code for something.

I'm also in the position where I've had real successes but my current role is stagnating to the point where I don't know if I can claim any real big achievement in the last quarter to 6 months.

Have you ever accepted a job offer as a candidate(or had a candidate accept your offer of employment as a recruiter/hiring manager), and then rescind? I have 2 opportunities but the timelines are misaligned. I think I'm shortly getting an offer from one while I'm midway thru the process with the other. I joined Amazon before stock split and have 100 stocks. Today i logged in to stock portal and i see my next vest is on April 2023 and my no od stocks going to vest is 20.

How it comes to 20, when first it's it's only 5% i.e 5 stocks should vest.
