continued:
1. i joined 1 year ago and first 6 months really was fighting the system and brought great results.
2. then i got burnt out, and last 6 months i simply go with the flow doing what is possible for the company without big political fights (obvious result: i am gradually excluded from info flows)
during this time i did sport, solved family issues, and prepared for McKinsey, reached the finals but not the offer.
3. i have strong support in my vertical (probably they are grateful for my "above and beyond" fighting efforts in the first 6 months)
now i have a choice:
1. get "promoted" and move to a toxic boss against whom i was hired to fight to compensate their inefficiency
2. stay in my current part of rganization but there is no role for me (because leadership supports me they will find something for me but (!) knowing our company it will be triplication of someones job for sure)
3. or leave as my role is eliminated (with small compensation package as i worked only 1 year, so it will be small)
i think the right thing is to look for another job outside but i dont feel my energy is high enough for that effort at this point
