I’d like to find out what other HR professionals do for employee files that are all kept on your share drive, no more paper file folders in the file drawer. With paper files, I have always kept separate file folders based on confidentiality and basic new hire/non-confidential forms. How do you manage your employees' E-files? Do you have a single file containing separate subfiles for confidential information? Or do you create a separate duplicate file for confidential information only?

Confidential folders with sensitive data, and general folders for others. Permission settings keep everything safe. Single employee folders. Would love to hear how others are managing it. Smaller company, and they are open to improvements.

Many organisations separate digital folders by confidentiality level, similar to paper files. Sensitive information like medical records or disciplinary notes is usually stored with restricted access controls.

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30. Would appreciate any thoughts on how to go about bringing this up without pissing people off because I love the firm and do not want to leave
