If i resign from cognizant do i have to complete 90 days Notice period

Not receiving a ton of support from my local office. Can I get staffed on an ITS project before making the transfer to get “my foot in the door,” or is that not a thing? Recruitment HR has confirmed in the email that I can collect the asset from pune and work from pune for few days until I go to kolkata.
Onboarding HR is like you have to come down to kolkata for collecting the laptop. Has Anyone faced similar experience?

I had my kind of hr round with TCS
They did not have a detailed discussion regarding the compensation .
But they told i will be getting link for uploading documents and then hr would be discussing for compensation.
Its been 2 days. No update. Can anyone guide. Why 2 hr rounds ? N how much time it takes?
