I'd tell my self to take more chances while I was young. I feel like if I did than I wouldn't be so afraid to do what I'm doing now. I would also tell myself it's ok to fail while I'm young because I still have time to recover.
I wish I would have done less book learning and more on the job learning. College is important and all, but I didn’t really feel like I knew what I was doing until I got a real job. Could have saved myself a lot of money now with that advice too!
In juggling career and family, would not feel as much pressure to drive things at home. As high performers I see women drive in all facets of life. I would have stepped back to allow my kids to slow down and make their own decisions (good or bad) and same with spouse. Like ignoring emails at work, often people step in when we don’t and it allows them to grow and teaches resiliency.
Travel more. Learn about people and cultures, that gives you insight into hoe to influence by learning to be approachable and truly get things done
