I never realized how much alcohol was hurting me until I gave it up. Never had trouble with alcoholism, but had a traumatic young life, and alcohol let out all the anger and rage like an unpredictable bomb. But I’ve since had the time and space to heal. 622 sober. 622 days of healing. 622 days without incident. 622 days at peace.
