I'm having a career crisis I’m not happy. I thought a new agency would be a great move I've been thrown in and feel so overwhelmed. I do get to step away at 5 to pick up my kids but I don't want to feel obligated to log back in to finish my work bc I was in meetings most of the day. I think I am over in being in Pharma what roles can I apply to that will transfer well my skill set.

I’m in the same boat but no kids and not in pharma. Too many meetings, weekends, late nights, and every break feels like not enough but I’m too scared to slow down. Just grateful I’m only ghosting my husband… don’t know how you moms do it 😢

Exactly! Why I left! I don’t miss cold coffee, pitches & launches! Lunch at 4pm. Because, you’re in back to back meetings! Head to client side & get your WLB back. VP, Directors they leave at 4pm. Dads & Moms both pick up kids and attend events. I had multiple fibroids that came from the stress in Pharma.

Such a shame. I rocked the boat hard when I joined the agency world at a late stage in my career and pushed for a much healthier approach to work. We are more profitable than ever not grinding day and night.

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
