I'm taking my first sick day so I can go to the doctor. I'm not sick, just feeling wiped out. Time to get my levels checked, check the thyroid, & get that B12 shot. I have a friend who gives herself weekly B12 shots. Maybe I am a baby, but I cannot see me do that! I know I'm getting enough water & protein, but still feel tired. I'm going to ask my doctor if there is something I can do to get the sustained energy without the shots. What do you do to have the energy to make it through your day?

Lots of caffeine!

For real-one serving of Everyday Doze, one protein Coffee, and one Energy Drink😝

I have way more energy when I am eating whole foods, getting an hour of exercise, and sleeping well. I know this isn't an exciting answer, but man it makes the difference.

Yes, my Doctor told me, "Outside and Exercise"

A big thing for me is supplements. I see a holistic Dr. to help me when other Dr.s don't do anything.

Once you’re back, (Try to) “keep calm and carry on 👑” by that I mean try not to let work get to you

I felt similar and it turned out to be anemia

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.

Hi all! I recently accepted a remote/hybrid RN position to try something new. Majority of my experience is at bedside. The pay is less than bedside (as a traveler), but more than a staff nurse. Are there any RN’s that left bedside for a remote position that can give advice on the work/life balance? What pros and cons do you encounter?
