Yeah at least. In this uncertain market I'd want at least a year runway to find a new job once I started looking. It's less about covering the time off and more how long it takes you to start getting paid again
I agree $50k minimum. $75k ideal.
The market is tight.
at least $30,000. maybe more just in case it takes you awhile to find a new job once you're ready to return to work
Not advised…. Think about if you outlast your savings and what the timeframe would be to renter the workplace…. And have to explain the gap in employment
