Hi! I believe you answered your own question and have a pretty good understanding of what to look for when vetting any solicitation of “opportunities.”
Maintain frame and inquire before providing any information. One thing to understand about recruiters is that they are all trying to provide for an employer to get a commission and sometimes too often are vying for the same employer.
You should be aware of red flags beyond what you stated if they contact you and want to move the conversation to another platform (e.g., WhatsApp, email, etc.) and ask for more personal and identifying information or money.
Just had one reach out to me today, no job description just a job title. Asked for my resume, current salary and expected salary

I honestly have just been suspicious of the ones that DM me, however if I am not familiar with the company, I won't apply. I would trust your instincts, since they sound like they are good ones.

If it looks like a red flag, it really is. You gotta be careful. Scams are so rampant nowadays. They know we need jobs and they are taking advantage of those who don't know.
