I am going to move in the next few month to a location with a higher cost of living due to personal circumstances. I love my current company but I’ve only been here a little over a month, how should I go about requesting if it’s possible to get a salary increase? Might be a stretch but thought it might be worth mentioning.

I have been tagged for this project that doesn’t start until June 10th. My utilization is going to drop significantly but at the same time the deployment team cannot present me elsewhere. Ugh!

Hi HR Professionals! I am revising our current employment application form. Per SHRM, I was just curious if any HR Professionals completely removed the following fields: social security number, recommend salary, graduation dates, military discharge info, race, maiden name like (Ms. Mrs. Ms), & criminal history questions. I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

If you’re working on the east cost and the client is on the west coast, is it too much to ask for them to consider the time difference and not schedule a meeting at 5:30p on a Friday??

Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? I have also considered a sales analyst role considering that I am moderately versed in Salesforce and have worked both the customer facing and sales generating side. TIA!

Has anybody else experienced (what seems like) irreversible physical damage from working long hours? I worked about a month of 19 hour days 2 years ago (this was the peak of the season where I worked at least 12 hours a day) and my facial skin hasn't really recovered and the experience really aged me.
