Yes. Regardless, you should always file for unemployment. Let the unemployment compensation office and your ex-company sort it out. You never get anything you don’t ask for.
You should file, just be prepared to fight
Even if you were “fired” you can approach your ex-company about a severance pay-out. I did that once and it worked.
