I work at a very small firm (4 attorneys, including me). I am fairly new. I was asked by one of the partners to do something unethical. I refused and was told that as an associate I am being paid to do what I’m asked to do. I am not putting my license at risk, but I’m unsure what I’m supposed to do now. I was given until Friday to do the assignment even after I refused. Do I quit? Report to the bar? I’m not too sure how to navigate this.
