All my school/college friends who are healthcare workers and have had the vaccine have posted vaccine selfies, or at least status updates that they have had it. I'm feeling left out. What's the equivalent thing to post for an auditor? Selfie with the SPLOCI?
KPMGers - what are some of the top benefits the firm provides you? I’m an auditor at EY but I have been contacted by a KPMG recruiter about joining their advisory/M&A group so I was curious what kind of benefits KPMG offers it’s people.
Recently promoted to senior auditor and I am interested in becoming financial analyst. Can anyone give an advice? Experience, requirement, potential for growth, benefits, etc. What can be a good qualification to develop?
EY Caregivers - Do you all know if you are you obligated to return to work after taking maternity leave or face some sort of financial penalty? I thought about it and I can’t imagine continuing life as a big 4 auditor with a young child for fear of missing out on the big moments of his early life. I have him early April
Hi all, just found out I’m expecting a little one but I’m nervous about staying in public as I don’t think it’ll be beneficial once the kiddo is born with the late nights of busy season and stresses of the job. Is it worth it to look in industry? If so, would they get angry that I’ll basically go in maternity leave in 9 months? Also, if public is better- why? I just don’t see benefits of being in public anymore. Also, I’ve been a senior auditor for 1 busy season if that helps. Helpppp.
Tax question from an auditor...I started a new job and initiated a rollover of my 401k from old company to new company. The old TPA issued a check to my new TPA for benefit of me, however they (cont)

How is KPMG's expense policy and phone benefits? Pwc is EP is super chill and phone perks are amazing and Deloitte EP are the best but shitty phone perks from what I hear and EY blows period
Why does the Big 4 pay their consultants so much less? Is it because our margins are lower or because of the partner pension plan?
For people who were let go at Pwc- were your unvested wealthbuilder and 401k balances accelerated to 100%? They should be since the restructuring likely qualifies as a partial plan termination.
Dyscalculia-c here, so request no judgement on question. If I have 10k in 401kA and 20kin 401k2 , will I make more in growth if I combine them into a single 401k? A friend was trying to push this logic but it’s beyond me.
Folks used to drool a bit over the financials of becoming a partner at a big 4 because when they retire they get a partner pension that will pay them 200-300 k per year. True? Correct numbers?

Campus hire. Few months late but enrolling in my 401K and going to do a Roth, as well. I keep seeing that you should “maximize” both. What does that mean? Is there a calculation or common principle?
Is it risky to have the same ETFs and index funds in BOTH of my Roth IRA and 401K accounts? Also with the same allocation
My rent is 1450 a month, with all expenses accounted for it comes to about 1900 a month and leaves me with 2,080 leftover. is this sustainable? I plan to invest 1k each Month . My 401k contribution is 15% also. Let me know what y’all think
If I can afford it, should I be maxing out my contributions to my Roth and 401k? So 5500 to Roth each year and 18,000 (18.5k for 2018) to 401?
PwC vs Deloitte? Let’s say Deloitte pays me higher base, etc. I feel like pwc has done a better job at digital upskilling and providing resources for learning. Anyone have insight on other benefits of one over the other? What other angles would you look at besides money and how good the specific practice is?

Moving from a semi monthly to a bi weekly pay frequency. Got a bump at new company, but the paycheck amounts will be almost the same. Yes, 26 vs 24 paychecks, but come on! I want to feel the raise!

What’s the most amount of submissions you’ve had to give to client before they accepted a deliverable? I’m on version 15 now and I feel like I’m being played with 😡. Make me feel better 🐠
Remember this while you're interviewing: the nicest an employer will ever be to you is when they're trying to recruit you. If they jerk you around then, heed that as a warning accordingly.
