I’m curious, who has a side gig, in or out of pharmacy? I have a per diem cannabis dispensary job that I LOVE, plus I’m technically a consultant for both Arbonne and Ruby Ribbon, although I don’t push either of them.

@PwC partners - two unrelated questions:

1) partner pension - I heard they are changing the formula. Can you elaborate on what the change is and if you feel it hurts new partners?

2) partner buy in - what is the actual buy in $ amount? I've heard $250k but wanted to confirm.

Accenture peeps - I think I mistimed maxing out my 401k this year. Does our next pay period count towards this year's contributions or next year's? It's for 12/15-12/31 but we're paid 1/5ish. Help!

How long does it take to get pension when leaving K? Also- how do I get access?

If 401k match is less than 2% it may be better to invest outside of firm and have easier access to money. Match practically worthless. Only benefit is taxes really. Thoughts?

Is it beneficial to have health insurance from both spouses, vs choosing the better one and opting out of the second? Why/why not? This seems like a silly question, but it’s our first time with both of us being staff in a decade. We have a kid, if that affects your answer.

Between two offers, "Associate Principal" for m&a consulting in the Healthcare industry vs a Director at a F300 company doing M&A and Partnerships. Consulting pays about 50k more. What does the future look like in consulting? I am a bit nervous jumping from from "industry side" to the "consulting side".

My partner just told me he’s been interviewing and is close to getting an offer. He’s looking due to our company being a total mess right now. We work so well together, have great creative chemistry and really support each other. I get why but I still feel dumped. And now I’m left alone to deal with the mess. Anyone relate?

How are the paralegals in your department organized/structured? What are the pros and cons? We’re exploring the idea of a paralegal center of excellence. Currently paralegals are reporting to the lawyers they support. The disadvantages are that the paralegals are siloed, so there’s no back-up if they’re out and they don’t have anyone who can support them if their work gets too busy. Additionally, the lawyers have a hard time accurately evaluating them since they can’t easily compare their work.
