What's your experience working with United Way?
Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

In my experience I’ve found the women to be a lot more competent. With the male supervisors I’ve found myself having to spell out things a lot more and sometimes it’s uncomfortable, whereas with the female supervisors a lot of times there is a level of understanding where I don’t have to overexplain things and they just get it.
Totally depends on the supervisor... and honestly the employee. I think some people feel more comfortable answering to a man and others feel like a woman is more understanding. I personally prefer female supervisors, but I think it depends on your comfort level, their personality, and your personality. And probably past experiences with people in authority.
For me, no. Male supervisors for me have been twice as likely to second guess me, force me to prove myself more than my male teammates, and I've been privy to more than one super misogynistic conversation that I can't complain about without getting comments about how I'm sensitive. My female supervisor knows I can do the work because she's seen me do it, she provides support and an ear if I need one but mostly just minds her business and does her job well. Plus I don't have to hear about how she's surprised I'm a blonde in engineering or that I haven't "married out" yet.
