Is it better to work for a corporation or as a freelance consultant?

I started working as a consultant with EY 8 months ago. Even though I'm content and learning a lot there, I think there are places where I might easily earn more money. I received a job offer last week from Alvarez & Marsal to work as a consultant at the Transaction Advisory Department (financial due diligence team), where I will be paid more fairly (salary & bonus). Should I accept it? Or would leaving EY that early not be wise?

I have done a big mistake by joining EY.. I regret daily.. i don't know where I am going n what I am doing.. they have made me sick n mentally ill.. even I want to cry but i m not able to do.. just want to left this organisation but not able to do so because of the market condition.

Please advice me what I can do to cope with all this?

Seeking advice on career paths within tech after bizops. Currently in bizops and former consultant, and while the work is fine I’ve realized that bizops feels similar to consulting and in the long term I’m looking for a role that has more ownership and ideally more analytical.
