Depends upon your current responsibility, if you are bachelor then you can take risk, if you are having family then don't take risk

like

Never. If you are facing any challenges in your current organisation then update your resume with 30 days notice ( don’t put down paper and say your last working day is current +30).
So you will get lots of calls. Give interviews and get hired. Once you get confident on your skills and interview results then you may put down paper.

likehelpful

HR knows notice period of most of companies so telling lies will not help.

like

Not right now for sure the market is not at all good

like

Ok

Market is not that good to take that kind of risk.
Makre sure you have an offer before putting down your notice.
You can say to the HR's that you have negotiable notice period upto 45 - 60 days. And based on that you can get interviews scheudled.
Once you have any offer you can put down your resignation. And then you will have 90 days to get another decent offer.

LinkedIn is a garbage app where I can’t even post my opinion or experience because it will go against the mainstream ideologies. If I even “like” a post then I worry that my peers and managers see what I like and suddenly I need inclusivity training. What a load of shit! You can’t be who you truly are on that app. Which is why I like fishbowl so much, the anonymity is a game changer. If LinkedIn was a anonymous, we’d see a lot more support for Kanye and a lot less LGBQT material. Bet!

My company is in need of a update online, could use your opinions! We need to better showcase our culture (caring, supportive, fun, intelligent IT industry leaders) as well as diversity. We are predominantly white still but making strides to improve here. What’s the best way to approach? I don’t want to seem disingenuous or that we are singling out our diverse employees (asking for photos). We have a remote and on-site workforce about 350+ EEs. Non white EEs make up about 35% of the company rn.

Hi All!
This is my first post in Fishbowl, I'm looking for some genuine guidance on below query.

I have a total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?
Thanks
