You can continuously appear for interviews, there is nothing such as cool off period if you are not already employed with them.

There is only a cool off period for re hiring - to the same organisation - which is 6 months!

Are you sure? Because a few of my contacts who are in the hiring industry say it's 6 months. Meaning if I apply get rejected, then after 6 months I am eligible to reapply

TCS Hr revised my ctc to 27.5lpa from 24lpa for C3A band & shared ctc break up. I negotiated asking him to revise the fixed comp to 26lpa & JB. He said that he would try for fixed comp of 26lpa but no JB. Later he came back saying he can't get an approval for 28lpa & asking me if I'm okay with 24lpa & he would try to get 24lpa also if possible. Hello,
I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
