Guys , sometimes candidates are selected and kept on hold .. if one backout with offer , they starts rolling out the offers to the one which are on hold .
Don’t be disappointed.. the world is not coming to an end . Keep hunting .
Also from June onwards , hiring has been slow down across country .

My hiring manager told me it's a hiring freeze in Morgan Stanley.

I got a call back today and they might send offer letter in 2 weeks
Hi. Can you tell me when your last round was done and when you received final offer.
Update - HR called me yesterday on my last day at work asking if I am still open for the same offer. I said I have accepted a better offer so at same salary not possible. He said ok and disconnected.

Update HR again asked me more time lol. My interview were finalized on 2nd June. I was following up consistently each week. hr keeps telling me next week next week. I have come across such Red Tapism in tech for the first time.
And the other fact is I am already on notice period🤣. It's 15 more days only.
Hmm same approval stage. But I notice others getting the offer, not sure whether it’s specific to certain positions or are they creating a backup

my HR discussion is done 4 weeks back and they called again today to confirm if Im still available for the position
I got call from HR.. She convinced me that the role they are offering is very good... But haven't got even interview scheduled yet.. Been 2 weeks

How much time it takes for you to get the offer letter ?
Morgan stanley had a very bad quarterly earnings release. It has hurt them mostly in the gut i.e investment banking. And the recession is yet to come in US. I don't think they will give approvals. Look for other jobs i know lot of us has missed out on good opportunities. Hence people have more offers in hand
Yes more or less it looks done and dusted unless a miracle happens to get an offer from MS.
How do I get to know that the BGV has started or not? Will we get an email once BGV is initiated?
I have not received any email yet although I have accepted the offer on Taleo.
Same here i cleared all rounds and salary discussion was done HR said waiting for approval to release offer letter but now in the portal its showing as the job is no longer available. I am worried. What does it mean..will i get the offer. Its been 3weeks since i gave my interview for now

All the positions are frozen and no approvals are in place .. start looking for other options . They will only revert back when they get approval (exceptional )
What was the final status? Did you receive the offer? I am in the same situation now. Had HR discussion a month back and am still waiting for the offer.
