I've seen a mix of real and fake stuff, like everywhere else on the Internet. The most important thing to do in my mind is double check on the company and their website to make sure the role is posted and the website looks legit. That has always worked for me!

Found a random engagement ring.

Hi all, so I found a platinum ring (which I assumed it's an engagement ring as it has dates and initials engraved on top.) And a Divvy tag (I have no idea what it was until I googled it. Apparently it's a bike sharing service in Chicago) in a briefcase I ordered online. I was thinking of returning the item back to the store but that wouldn't help the person who lost the ring. Attached is a picture of them.

What should I do now?

I have an offer to hop from a mid 20 accounting firm to a consulting firm for a sizable pay raise, (kinda) OT pay, more interesting work, etc. I want to take it but am concerned that being in my current role for just under a year will get me labeled as a job hopper. I plan on staying at the new job for at least a few years if that makes a difference. Any advice on if taking the job will hurt me down the road?
