I’ve been in property claims for 7 years, and now I’m being offered a Claims Manager role. It sounds exciting, but honestly, the bump is only about $7,500 (from $83K to $90.5K), and everyone keeps warning me the workload will be nonstop.🫤 I love training newer adjusters and feel proud when they grow, but I’m also a single mom with a 6-year-old and already feel stretched thin. I’m torn between wanting to advance and fearing I’ll burn out. Has anyone here taken the leap to management and regretted it? What would you do in my shoes?
