In general, a cash gift should be equal to the amount the host is paying for you to attend the wedding - fancy weddings cost more/casual weddings less.
Yeah $100 isn't enough for an associate. And if my asshole friends are reading this, neither is a box of golf balls that you split.
If it is at a nice place in a legit market (like New York) you should give at least $150-200 per person. Obviously less if you are not attending the wedding (wasn't clear from OP). If I got $75 or $100 I'd consider that very low
Usually it's the cost of the plate per person. Wit an open bar and plated dinner, could run you $200 a person. Granted if it's not as fancy or destination, then the cost is lower.
Just had this convo on the office. For an analyst / ask a good friend is $150/person; ok friend is $100.

$500 - 1000
$100 Amazon gift card. I got a ton for my wedding and loved it. I also got three rice cookers, so having the flexibility to buy my own stuff without schlepping to bed bath and beyond to return duplicate items was HUGE
Kinda depends on the people sometimes, the venue, etc. I think 50 minimum for any wedding gift. If that doesn't feel right then I think 75 is fair.
OK so $100 is fine. I wasn't sure if it should be $150/200
Depends on the venue. If you have a job, I'd say $100 per person minimum. If it's a nice place then more.
