I’ve been thinking about how mentorship doesn’t always have to come from someone older or higher up. Sometimes your peers or younger coworkers can teach you a lot. Have you ever learned something valuable from an unexpected person?

A mentor can be anyone who is willing to unselfishly invest in others. Sometimes, that can come from a peer, a leader, or even someone you lead. Always be open to learn and you will find mentors on every level.

I have a really good friend that I've been working with for about six years and I've learned a ton from her. Not in any sort of structured, official way. Just by observing how she works and lives her life and asking lots of questions. I agree, you can learn a lot from other people, especially people who are doing great in ways you want to emulate.

Absolutely agree with this. I’ve learned the most just from observing people

An employee who reported to me ended up being a bit of a mentor. They had many different career changes and had a wealth of knowledge in so many things.

That’s amazing! You sound like a great manager

I'm into Salesforce with 6.2yrs of experience working as a Sr. Developer having the current CTC as 14lpa. And got an offer from Mindtree for the same Sr. Developer position(C3- Module Lead), as Lead position requires minimum 7yrs of experience. They offered me a package of 19.2lpa. Is this worthy? Please suggest how much can I expect from them? Also how is the hike cycle in Mindtree ? Mindtree

HI All,

In salary breakup of Bosch apart from total CTC, another payable amount is mentioned under 'NPS optional- Company Contribution'. What does this optional means? And whether this NPS amount is on the top of the offered CTC or will they adjusted it with some other component mentioned under fixed salary?

I’m waiting on an offer for what’s named IT Business Analyst but it’s also Salesforce Administrator work. The company is The Adecco group so they are fairly big. I have two years of Salesforce admin experience and in my interview they said my experience is perfect to what they are looking for

So my questions is, I think they are going to offer around 80k but I don’t think their going to be guaranteed bonuses with the offer. Should I negotiate a bonus to the salary or negotiate a higher salary?
