CEO haha. It honesty though, it depends on the company. Most companies in the entertainment space are going to pay you less than industry standard because so many people want to work in entertainment. If I were you, I would aim to work at an ad agency or as an in-house graphic designer. It won’t be as “fun” but you’ll get paid a lot more and have steady work.

Hi Fishers,

Can anyone please refer me for boutique management consulting firms as I have less than 1 year of experience and I think it's hard for me to get into top consulting firms. I am looking for a job as I want to switch to management consulting.

I would also like to know what upskilling should I do to be a better fit for management consulting. I currently work as a Market research analyst.

Any help from the community will be really helpful. Thanks in Advance!

Anyone have a room for rent in uptown or downtown?

Hey Dallas folks!

I want to get to know the local private companies. I worked at a private company with 2-3k employees before my MBA. They had an amazing culture, but limited progression opportunities. I'm thinking about looking for a smaller company (couple hundred to couple thousand employees) in the Dallas area and looking to find an amazing culture.

Anyone have recommendations on companies with great cultures in the Dallas/north of Dallas areas? (I live in the Plano/Allen/Mckinney area)

I could use some advice on how I should handle this situation. I found out the other day another editor who started four months ago is making 8% more than I do. For context, I have been here for a little over a year. How do I approach my boss to inquire about a raise? Should I bring up that I know about my teammate's salary?
