Does Deloitte have any promotions with SPG or Marriott where we get some bonus points just for checking in? Heard EY and KPMG have something like that!
Hi all! For an experienced hire as a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, what should I expect the salary/sign-on bonus to be at a MCOL city? I have approx. 3.5 YOE (non-consulting), MBA and MS degree (non target school) and also SHRM certified (which is probably irrelevant for the role but thought I’d share anyways). Already did my research but the range is kind of all over the place for experienced hires so just want to have a ballpark. Thanks!
If I use gift cards in booking flights or hotels, can I expense the total amount including that is paid by gift cards?
I’ve been working for my client for about a year and love my projects and client team and have had strong performance-however my team running the PMO is disorganized, burnt out, and teetering on the verge of a major mishap if the trend continues. I’m looking elsewhere but have a strong relationship with our client leadership contacts…..how would I float the idea of them taking me client-side?
Good penetration tester but have a biz background (undergrad & masters). Want to transition to mgmt consulting. Possible at all or is a career transition or MBA required? Don’t hate my work just ?ing
I rolled off a project 3 months ago. They keep reaching out and asking me to help onboard new teammates to give them historical knowledge (it’s a long-term project). Do I have to keep doing this? Or does it get to a point where I can say I don’t have the time and there must be someone more recent who can help?
It’s crazy to think that there have been more reported coronavirus deaths in the state of New York than Asia, Middle East, Africa and Oceania combined.
Mullen Lowe, after I was flown in for an all day interview and workshopped a deck the team was struggling with on the fly. Had to bug them for 3 months to get my cab fare refunded.
The more and more I'm in consulting the more I realize I'm a type b kind of guy lol. Which of the firms has the "chillest" culture and people?
Prior to this ive only ever done FS operations focused consulting i.e. mix of implementation & operating model development/assessment. Hours usually 830-7. Got an offer for a strategy role at a big 4. What are the average hours like? Am I going to regret this?
Looking for an entry level cyber security job for a friend who just graduated with a masters in cyber security. She lives in Tampa but is willing to travel part of the time
I have a second round of interview (meeting partners) at Davis Wright Tremaine this week? Any tips will greatly be appreciated.
Is anyone here content with just being a run-of-the-mill creative? Does there come a point where you’re not seen as valuable anymore? I’ve been in the industry for five years now and basically made nothing good or interesting (I work at a big nyc holding company owned agency). I’m already in my mid 30s so I’m getting worried that l’m getting to the point where I’ll be knocking on 40 with the book (and salary) of a 26 year-old.
In honor of National Voter Registration Day, The New Yorker released the transcript of a previously unpublished interview with James Baldwin, who gave a first-hand account of "Freedom Day 1963," a Black voter-registration drive in Selma, Alabama. Baldwin's descriptions from that day are so vivid and detailed that you can feel the fear and anger of the event. If you have a couple of minutes, I highly recommend you read it.
Looking for blackout curtains for my toddlers room. Found these on pottery barn kids. Has anyone tried these? Don’t want to spend the money only to find out they don’t work https://www.potterybarnkids.com/m/shop/kids-baby-curtains-shade/blackout-curtains/
Do any real people actually want schools to reopen as it stands now? Im hearing so much about it but it feels like a weird disconnected political thing and not a live humans with kids thing. *Obv the goal is to get covid under control so kids can go back safely, this is assuming infection rates stay steady or continue to climb
Question here - been at a new job for a bit and have discovered that the culture is extremely misogynistic. It’s been 6 months and I have had to go to HR twice. I want to leave, but don’t want to seem like a jumper - but then again, what does it say about a future employer if they judge me for leaving a bad work environment? Feeling conflicted. Thoughts ?
