Occasionally I see an ad for truck drivers and the company actually say "felons" are ok. What ever you do, be honest about it or it will come back to destroy your career. One thing about truck drivers is the ten year employment history you must account for. Be careful who you go to work for because even if they are a rotten company, job hopping is a no, no! Also, there's the "drug clearinghouse" that keeps track of drug test refusals and failed tests. Big no, no!
That being said, there should be work out there for you. You might get some counseling from your local employment office. Also, would think some good references would be extremely helpful.
Good luck!
