Looking for some advice. I’m a CPA but I’ve spent the past 4-5 years doing CF/FDD roles at decently big shops. The past 2 years I’ve focused on transactions in energy and infrastructure. I really would love to move into a buy side infra role but it’s been really challenging. Have tried applying, networking, exploring other geographies (currently live in London) etc. Any advice?

Since there is a heavy impetus on solving Tree, LinkedList, and Graph problems for tech interviews, it can naturally make freshers believe that these concepts will be used in day-to-day life at work. In reality, most of these DSA concepts are already implemented in some libraries our code uses and we rarely have to code such Algorithms by hand.
