Losing a job doesn’t erase your worth or identity, though I know it can feel like it does. I’m really sorry you’re going through this, especially when so much of who we are can get tied up in what we do. But maybe, just maybe, this could be the start of something new. Have you thought about what this moment might make space for in your life? Now, you are open to a million possibilities, take the time to think about it, and use bad news into something amazing, and you will be proud to share with your kids that life happens, but we decide what to do with it.
