I found the best way to describe myself - I have 100 bottles in my wine cellar but go buy bogo cheap wine to drink by myself.
I was at a prospect dinner and someone said “I’m well off enough to buy fun bottles but not rich enough to drink them by myself”

Oh, I feel this. I have a good amount of great wine but feel bad drinking it by myself and need to share it with friends. Occasionally I’ll be able to have a $50 bottle myself but it’s rare.

OOOOHHHH man! This stuff is GOOD! It's has the initial spice of regular Westward, but then has a nice malty finish afterwards. So good!

I swear the quality at Chipotle has gone down. Not sure if it’s because I always order online for pick up? For me, it’s never made right and doesn’t taste the same. Any similar experiences?

Cavatappi in Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce

Tired of of the same old boring tomato marinara sauce? Try a roasted red pepper cream sauce!

Red bell peppers are roasted in the oven until sweet. It is then blended with caramelized onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, sun dried tomato paste, and cream into a silky, smooth and velvety sauce. Finish the sauce with a knob of butter and coat your pasta. Cavatappi works well here. Don’t forget to shave a little Pecorino Romano

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. I am expecting an offer from a firm doing business law work but think this might be an opportunity to go to my current employer and ask for a significant raise, with new offer in hand. Any thoughts or advice going into this?

Has anyone moved away from NY and successfully resigned from the NY bar? What are the consequences if you just don’t pay? The requirements are insane to officially “resign” - draft a motion, pay a fee, send proof of service - I honestly do not know what this nonsense means, I’m not a litigator for a reason. Is there someone I can pay to do it? Should I just pay the $375 to stay active to avoid this nightmare?

Help me with my struggle!

I'm in Oklahoma, and an avid Aldi shopper. Prior to COVID, my favorite merlot was routinely stocked there - under $6 a bottle and better than many $30 bottles I've had. It was by Burlwood Cellars. Sadly, supply chain issues have apparently done a number on Aldi's wine selection and it's not carried there anymore. I've searched high and low for a comparable merlot, but to no avail. So I need alternate suggestions or better still, somewhere I can buy my old fav.
