I put "Creative Custodian" because all my ideas go straight to the trash can.
Relatable for me at the moment
I’ve heard from recruiters this is not a great move because it makes it harder for them to figure out what you bring to the table.
Oh, art/director copywriter.

Do copywriter or art director.
You need to put Art Director or Copywriter or recruiters can’t find you.
And so they can ghost you
I think of “creative” as more of a hybrid role, like you have skills across disciplines (and certain agencies refer to their team as so). Personally I’d go by either copywriter or art director (if you’re mid-level) and specify junior if you’re not. Easier to find and be sought out for roles in your specialty and know your pay range. I had two recruiters find me as a junior on LinkedIn so it’s better to be honest than vague IMO
I’ve been wondering the same thing haha. Not sure if “Copywriter” or “Mid-level Copywriter” is better.

yeah don’t do that
I’ve always written the exact position title I have.
To do otherwise defies simple logic. Why make it difficult for agency recruiters to match you with open roles?
Because titles are meaningless and naming the work you do on your professional profiles can be much more accurate than what you've been assigned. For example, I've been doing project management for years now, but I've had 7 different titles that all were unrelated to the work such as "event engagement and coordination specialist" or "talent and training curation manager".
Mid levels usually just say ‘Art Director’ or ‘Copywriter’ with nothing in front of it since it basically says you’re mid-level. Also, hate when people try to say they’re something they aren’t - knew a guy when we were INTERNS that didn’t want to be known as an intern so he put ‘Copywriter’ on his LI/Resume then ‘Senior Copywriter’ after a year at our internship. Like??? Why?
He certainly thought otherwise 😂 Thought he was so good that he could get hired as a Senior right away too. He, in fact, did not get hired as a Senior right off the bat. People truly never cease to amaze me anymore.
