Mentor
Maybe find something else you might like better instead of just quitting? Or find a way to motivate yourself. We do this to be able to afford a decent life for ourselves and our loved ones, not necessarily because we love our specialty areas. If someone paid me this much to lay on the beach all day, i would most certainly do it.

Don’t do either. This is your life, and you have more control than you think. Seriously think about what you would like to do and make a plan for how to get there. What practice are you in and for how long?

Why quit to figure it out? Why not carve out time to think about it while you are still earning an income? Start looking on job boards. Don’t filter your search. You will see there are so many things you can do that you never even knew existed. It might take some pressure off just to think about that. Then you can start applying to anything that looks interesting. See where it leads. But why give up the income and create a gap in your resume to do that?
Coach
I'm in a similar situation and met with my group leaders about this last week. They encouraged me to switch groups and also have me a contact to someone at the firm who connects associates with in-house roles.
