Anyone else internally preparing to get laid off?

Rising SC in Workforce Transformation at Deloitte, grateful to be on a long term project in case of layoffs...but project is terrible. Would love to find new role, consulting or industry. Any leads?

What are the reasons partners get fired (besides sexual harassment and expense report fraud)? What keeps a partner from coasting and raking in the bucks?

In the S&O practice and have not been staffed since mid March. Since then been doing 50-60 hrs a week on BD (I’m a Manager for reference). Utilization was around 100% back in March currently 70%. Great reviews in Lead liked by colleagues etc. However the past few weeks have been quite depressed as I’m worried I’ll be laid off. Took a week off to take a mental break but can’t seem to relax at all (lockdown + lack of childcare isn’t helping) should I start updating my resume?

Anyone here familiar with the hiring process of KPMG consulting in Van? Had a partner interview on Nov 21, thought the feedback was positive but haven't heard back yet (no rejection/offer). Is it something normal or the interview just didn't go as well as I thought?

It's an experienced hire for an SC role. I saw the posting is still open atm, and my guess is that the recruiting team is comparing candidates since competition is higher due to recent layoffs.

Anyone have experience moving from agency to I’m-house or brand side? I was just let go from Edelman & it was my 2nd lay-off in 2 years and my 3rd agency. I’m worried if I look at another agency (if they’re even hiring) that I’ll get laid off again. I was an SAE. Any advice is welcome!

If you have an offer to switch but with 2023 start, and you are in a toxic work environment, is there anything you can do to minimize risk of being PIP’ed or fired before new start date? Quitting early would probably raise red flags with new firm. Assume $ isn’t a huge prob

The other day I went to my coworker’s place after lots of drinks at a work event. We slept together. Nothing happened but we kissed. I’m now kind of conflicted as he is a coworker but I (badly?) want to hookup with him.. I think he does too, but he feels bad as our common boss saw us go home together that day, embarrassing.
